After installation

• Create a SharePoint Announcement List

1. Go to site contents, click New -> Add.
   
2. Click on the classic experience link
   
3. Find the Announcement app and click on the icon.
   NB: For communication sites, read this article on how to enable announcement list app.
   
4. Type the name you want to give to your announcement app and click on Create

Configure Announcement Ticker Properties
Add the Announcement PopUp to your modern page (Ensure the web part is placed at the top or close to the top of the page. SharePoint renders web parts as they come into view on the screen. Positioning the web part at the top guarantees it is rendered when the page initially loads.). Then configure the following Web Part properties in the Property Pane section as needed:

• Site
  • Select the Site where the Announcement list is located.
• List
  • Select the Announcement List you created previously.
• Filters
  • Add appropriate filters select desired items
    There are two key words that you can use to filter based on the current day [Today], or the current user [Me]. These are dynamic as they change with the user or the date.
    
• Sort by
  • Select the field to sort by
• Sort Direction
  • Select the direction to sort the items by
• The delay before the popup will open (in milliseconds).
• How often should popup display when user visits this page
  • Every time
  • Once a day
• Scroll Speed
  • Specify the speed in millisecond. This is how long it takes to cycle through list item
• Width (px)
  • Width of popup in px
• Height (px)
  • Height of popup in px
• Licence Key
  Enter your Announcement Ticker Web Part License Key as supplied after purchase.
