How to Activate Our Web Parts Licence

After purchasing, we will send the licence key to you. To activate it, create a list and the root site collection and add a list item.

Below are the steps to do that.

We frequently release new web parts. Since your last use of the demo version, a new version may have been published. To ensure you’re using the latest features, please check and update to the most recent version. Refer to this guide for instructions on updating.

1. Create a SharePoint List

  1. Navigate to the Top Site Collection:
    • Open your SharePoint site in your web browser.
    • Go to the top site collection. Enter https://yourtenant.sharepoint.com.
  2. Create a New List:
    • Click on the Settings (gear icon) in the top right corner.
    • Select Site contents.
    • Click on New and then select List.
    • Name the list EnvoqonLicence.
    • Click Create.

2. Add a Multiline Column

  1. Navigate to the List:
    • Go to the EnvoqonLicence list you just created.
  2. Add a New Column:
    • Click on Add column.
    • Select Multiple lines of text.
    • Name the column LicenceKey.
      • Ensure the Rich text option is not selected (choose Plain text instead).
    • Click Save.

3. Add an Entry

  1. Add a New Item:
    • In the EnvoqonLicence list, click on New.
    • Use the table below to enter the corresponding title value in the Title field. Make sure you don’t have spaces around the Title.

    • Enter the provided licence key in the LicenceKey field. Make sure you don’t have spaces around the licence key.
    • Click Save.

4. Secure the List

  1. Go to the EnvoqonLicence list you just created.
  2. Select Settings Settings icon , and then Library settings or List settings.
  3. On the Settings page, under Permissions and Management , select Permissions for this list or Permissions for this document library.
  4. Select Stop Inheriting Permissions .
  5. In the Name list, select the checkbox next to the name of all the current users or groups.
  6. Select Remove User Permissions.
  7. Select Grant Permissions on the Permissions tab.
  8. In the Share… dialog box, make sure Invite people is selected, and then type everyone except external users.
  9. Click Show options and
    • Uncheck Send an email invitation
    • Change the selection in the Select a permission level box to Read.

FAQs

I have entered the licence key, but it is still not working
  • The list should be created at the root site, for example, https://yourtenant.sharepoint.com.
  • Ensure that the list name has no trailing spaces.
  • When entering the list item title, ensure the value for Title column (e.g. UltimateWebParts) has no trailing spaces.
